Important:
If the wrong Business Portfolio, Facebook Page, or Instagram account is selected during login, Zingly will not be able to publish correctly.

Fergus integration is available on the Zing Up plan.
If you are not already on a paid plan, upgrade to Zing Up first.
After upgrading, open the Fergus setup screen again and choose your automated post settings, including:
Then click Connect Fergus.
To connect Fergus, you need to generate a Fergus PAT token.
Log in to Fergus using an owner or admin account. This is recommended if you want Zingly to access jobs created by your team.
In Fergus:
Copy the generated PAT token.
Return to the Fergus setup screen in Zingly.
Paste the Fergus PAT token into the token field and click Connect Fergus.
That's it - your Fergus connection is now ready. Once connected, Zingly can start preparing posts from Fergus jobs marked for Zingly.
To send a Fergus job to Zingly, add:
#zingly
to anywhere in the job description of main job (not job phases) when you are ready.
This tells Zingly to prepare that job as a social post.
For best results, include a short description of the work completed.
Attach photos to the main job (not job phases). Photos saved in job phases cannot be accessed by Zingly for posting. Zingly automatically retrieves photos from the main Fergus job and uses AI to select the most relevant images for the completed work.
You do not need to add the suburb or location in the job description. Zingly automatically uses the Fergus site address for location context.
Example
#zingly Installed new downlights and upgraded switches.
Another example:
Completed switchboard upgrade and safety check. #zingly
Once the job is saved in Fergus with the #zingly tag in the job description field, Zingly automatically creates the post with in 5 mins, which you can review from Pending Review in your Zingly dashboard.
Important: After attaching photos and completing the job details, place #zingly at the end before saving. #zingly is the trigger Zingly uses to fetch the job. Attach photos and add this tag in the main job only (not in job phases), because Zingly does not have access to job phases.
Zingly automatically removes private details from job information before creating social content.
This includes customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, exact addresses, access codes, invoice details and private customer notes.
Zingly uses the Fergus site address for location context, but it is designed to avoid publishing exact private address details in the social post.
For better posts, keep job descriptions focused on:
